My final Samara costume! Debuted at PAX East in Boston. I made the entire costume but the head piece, which was made by the Mad Masker.

Thank you! The Mad Masker [link] created the headpiece and I just did the paint job.

Well thank you! On my face I used Ben Nye, the solid kind that needs to be activated by a 'sealer', I think its called. Then just cheap makeup for my eye area. On my chest I used a mixture of acrylic paint and pros-aide and oh my god I will never do that again. It took me days to get if off my skin in multiple sessions even though I had the remover!

No problem!
Oh Ben Nye, that's great! I'm particularly curious in the color, what shade is it or did you have to mix colors?
Thanks for the info!!!

I had to mix a darker blue and a white. The type of Ben Nye I got was the compressed powder that needed to be activated by a liquid agent, so I literally had to mix the paint colors while they were on my face and only had a few seconds before it dried. It was the biggest pain in the ass, though the makeup lasted really well for the whole day and never smudged off.
