Chakwas is my favourite in this, though your Samara cosplay is damn amazing.!

Our Chakwas was a great comical addition to the squad. She even had a bottle of Serrice Ice Brandy!

I saw that! That's brilliant!

I'm going to Anime North 2013 in Toronto as Off-Duty FemShep with the hoodie, and I hope to find many ME cosplayers. There was an Aria last year, and a girl I went to high school with was Jack, and it was fabulous.

gotta ask, what kind of body paint did you use?

I love finding other ME cosplayers at conventions! I wasn't very happy with this body paint because I couldnt apply or mix it easily at all. Though once it was on it didnt go anywhere. This year at NYCC I used Ben Nye Cream makeup and mixed their white and dark blue to get the perfect light blue to match my headpiece around the edges of my face. It looked better and went on easier but I had to be careful not to touch it as it would come of really easily.

Ahh, I bet that would be a pain in the ass! Looks good though, I bet.

I was considering going as Ashley, but I'm a bit strapped to find how to make the armour and I don't have the time to sit down and shape every bit of foam and what not, and with my OCD, it'd have to be the perfect shape, and I'd sit there and try to fix it all the time, and I'd probably never be happy with it.

However, I'm happy with the fact that I have 6 months until AN13, and I have majority of my cosplay from materials I already own (N7 patch, Boots, chaps to add to the boots, black army-esque pants, a dog tag, and a nerf gun.)

i've seen some amazing ones though, and I wish I had the confidence to pull off Miranda Lawson. eheh.

Yeah, those foam armor builds can be pretty labor intensive. Though even if the parts arent perfect you can still pull something off that looks good! Its always worth it to try. You may surprise yourself with how good you could make something look :)
